Hey blogger, blogger, blogger, blogger, blogger, blogger.........swing blogger

Anything going on with anyone?

Yesterday at lunch I had already accumulated 40 hours this week. Yee haw. I might get a Christmas tree up this year.

James sent me an email earlier and I made the comment that no one was on the blog lately (except Henley's awesome canoeing pictures). Just been supremely busy with work and other junk lately. Although I shouldn't talk too much...I don't come home to a houseful of munchkins after a long day at the office. As for Christmas trees...we didn't take ours out this year. Figured it would be a hassle if we sold the place. Doesn't look like that would be a problem now. We're going to be having Suzanne (one of the KC Wiscy folks) "house sit" for us while we're gone. It won't be as good financially as selling the crib, but it's better than nothing.

We're hanging in up here. It's been brutally cold and snowing much more than I'd like this early in the winter. It took me 2 hours to get home tonight with the snow covered roads. Basketball has been taking up a lot of my time lately and I'm not seeing the fruits of my labor. We're 0-2. We just don't have the talent that we had last year. Still, I enjoy working with this group of guys. They are fun to be around. Tomorrow night I hope to get our first win!!

What are the schedules again for Christmas?? We arrive on Friday, probably late that evening and leave on Wednesday morning. Any chance of post-Christmas golf. I won't be able to bring my clubs home (just ask Jeremy how much space an 18" wheel chair and portable potty take up), but I figured I could borrow, or get some Rrrrrrrrrrentals. That's French for rentals. Boner, I know you're leaving on Monday, but I figure we tee off at Muni at 7:30 am and you're on the road by 12:30pm, b ack in the ATL by 5:00 pm EST.

Anyway, I really, really, really hope to see everyone. I'm in much need of a little time with my fellas. I'll take whatever I can get.

Speaking of Henley's Utah pics. I booked my ticket for Salt Lake City and 3 days of boarding for March 16-20. I know there wasn't much response, but just in case, thought I'd let everyone know. Right now it's me, Flicker, Ryan (about 99% sure) and maybe about 4 other guys, including Fil if he steps it up.

I don't see any reason why I couldn't pick you up. Let me know what your arrival time is.

James, if I can't play golf that Monday (I'm going to try and stay till Tuesday...we'll see how that goes) you can use my TaylorMades. I'm leaving them in Huntsville as we begin the mass migration of certain items and possessions to the House of Homer. If I can play you can use Homer's clubs. He got some nice ones...can't remember what brand, but they are definitely nice. Also, I'd love to go to Utah, but I might be skiing that weekend in New Zealand (okay, I'll actually be lounging on a beach in Australia by then, but you get the point). As for your activities while on the slopes...you still snowboard? The broken wrist didn't turn you off quite like Cece's broken arm did to her? She doesn't even like to WATCH people snowboard now.

Nah, it could happen falling down the steps. I'm just more cautios on icy Wisconsin hills. In Utah, it's all powder and powder can't hurt.
