Well, the blog has all but come to a halt. I figured I'd post something just for the heck of it. Things are warming up here and with daylight savings time I've been able to get out and do some running. Hard to believe I've only got 10 weeks of school left. Hope everyone is doing well.

We are closing on our new house next Tuesday. We have a lot of packing to do. Claire and Joshua are both playing soccer at the Y. Quite entertaining. I have about 4 business development efforts going on at work - along with doing actual work. I was elected into a group of 30 young professionals in the HSV community to participate in a new group, called Connect, to stimulate community involvement. At the 2 day opening retreat we were encouraged to chose one of the follwing areas to get involved - Education, Politics/Good Government, Economic Development, Health and Human Services, and Quality of Life. We heard from over 25 different agencies under the five catagories. I chose Education (go figure). james, I will call you for alternative opinions from someone teaching in a different state. I guess I'm a little busy. When is everyone coming to HSV? Cook-out at the new house to anyone that shows up.
Sounds like some interesting stuff. I can't believe that you have two children playing soccer. That blows my mind. Who is sponsoring/leading this community group? Sounds like a pretty cool thing and an honor to be selected. Congratulations. Feel free to call anytime, I've got plenty of opinions. How is youth group going?
Not sure when we'll be in HSV. Probably late July or August assuming I do summer school.
When is your family doing your beach vacation. My parents are talking about getting a place down there for a week or two and I'm trying to steer them towards a time when you guys are going to be down there. That would be awesome. Jeremy is supposed to send his dates as well.
Well, I've got to go watch myself teach. That's right, I had to video tape myself teaching and now I have to write a reflection on how I've grown professionally over the last year. Well, I don't swear at the kids anymore, does that count?? Just kidding. I'll just be glad when I "graduate."
