Smart Investment

Jen sent me this today. Makes complete sense to me.

If you had purchased $1000.00 of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now
be worth $49.00.

With Enron, you would have $16.50 left of the original $1,000.00.

With WorldCom, you would have less than $5.00 left.

But, if you had purchased $1,000.00 worth of beer one year ago, drank
all the beer, then turned in the cans for the aluminum recycling REFUND,
you would have $214.00.

Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and
recycle.

It's called the 401 Keg Plan.

Well, I turned in my portfolio today for my teacher certification. Two years of work all condensed into one 3 ring binder. One more little presentation and hopefully I'll be official ok to stand in front of a bunch of teenagers and try and teach them about the wonders of math. Only 23 more days of school until summer...but who's counting??

What's the plans for the weekend, still coming to A-town?

Happy anniversary!

Sorry about ending the conversation so abruptly. Joshua didn't know where I went (outside to talk to you) and almost decided to throw a fit. I intervened quick enough. Back in the pool, only to have lightning strike nearby-ending the swim lesson early again (second straight day).

On another note, you have me inspired to do another CD now.

No biggie. I can imagine that your hands all full with the 3 children. It's nice that Amanda was able to get away. I'm sure she needs it.

I'm already excited about the CD. Hopefully I won't have to wait until August or something, if you know what I mean...and I think you do.
