Well, Cece and I have agreed to purchase a new home here in Roswell (Weezer is still hoping for it to fall through so we'll be forced to move to Huntsville), contingent upon some maintenance issues being addressed after the home inspection. We sent back the amendment this morning with our wish list of fixes. It is a nice house, built in 1989 with plenty of room for visitors, ahem. It's a four bedroom/three bath home with a finished basement with an additional BR and full bathroom down there. The sellers moved to Hawaii so they had to leave the pool table in the basement. Now all I have to do is build a sweet bar and install a flat screen and we'll have the perfect Boys Weekend getaway. Anyway, I haven't taken any pics yet but these are the ones the realtor's had on their website.
Awesome stuff. The positives of house ownership definitely out weigh the negatives. For example, waiting for your gutters to thaw because you didn't clean them out before the first freeze. You'd never get to that if you lived in a condo.
I say next year instead of going to an Auburn game, we just have a big par-tay at your house. We can tailgate, watch the game, and vomit in your guest bathroom. It will be just like being in Auburn.
It's looking more and more like Jen maybe setting up shop for awhile at a Vet school. I guess I should push for UGA?
what do you mean by setting up shop at a vet school. Is she doing an internship?
The deal for the land Kevin is going to build on has cleared in principle - they should be signing after the holidays. Kevin told me that it would be nice if Jen did an internship somewhere and then came and worked in his clinic in a few years. Maybe that will work out.
