Well, I thought, just maybe we'd get through winter without any major snow. Wrong. We finally got a fairly significant amount of snow. Enough to be a pain in the rear, but not enough to warrant a snow day. Needless to say my back is screaming from shoveling.
It looks like I'm going start playing some soccer. One of Jen's classmates is putting together a team and I told them I was interested. I'm a little nervous since the last time I walked off an indoor soccer field it was under two friends arms on my way to ACL reconstruction. Oh well, I guess it's time to give it a go.
No plans for May 27?? I'm very seriously considering signing up for the Madison marathon. I think it would be an excellent reason to have boys weekend in Madison. It's Memorial Day weekend, so its even a long weekend. C'mon, who's with me?

I'm running Cotton Row that weekend. I think I am going to give the Huntsville marathon a go next December
I think you should run the marathon. What a milestone.
Is it wrong that my primary motivation for doing one is just that...a milestone. I like exercising and will do it regardless, but to be honest I want to be able to say I've ran a marathon. I've basically got one month to decide. When the temps are in the single digits it makes it tough to want to go out and pound the ice covered pavement.
Its not wrong at all. Exercise is a means to an end. No one likes exercise for the sake of exercise. You are either training for an event or your training with a group of guys to get your daily allowance of guy time. Exercise is just an excuse to grasp your manhood (figuratively speaking).
