Good wine, great memories

So, last night, after dinner I went downstairs to finish a glass of wine and watch a little TV. Then, for whatever reason, I decided to put in the state championship game against Vestavia. Man, it is fun and painful to watch that now. I only watched the first half, but still, we had no business winning that game. It was definitely a team of destiny. Larry was so silly that game. If you had shown that tape to college coaches I'm thinking scholarships would have been filing in daily.

Well, hope everyone had a good weekend. I spent most of yesterday cleaning since this house is out of control. Jen had an exam, yes, on Saturday, and still has three more to go. We'll both be relieved come Thursday. She hasn't had a real "break" from school since last Christmas after she spent most of her summer getting caught up on Spring semester.

We are pretty much not doing Christmas cards this year, so if you don't get one I hope your feelings aren't hurt. We think about all of you quite often and I look forward to saying Merry Christmas in person. I'm feeling sort of like Ebaneezer this year, no lights, no decorations, well we did go to one Christmas party, but other than that not a lot of Christmas spirit, at least by America's standard.

Larry, do you want to make a tee time for Monday morning at Muni??

Rob and I wussed out on the camping trip. Weather forecast was rainy down near Pine Mountain and we were tired as all get out from our late night foray to the Pink Pony on Friday. Side note, I saw a "normal" person spend the most amount of strip club money I've ever seen in person. My co-worker went out with us and he dropped $500 on chicks, booze, and more chicks. Thankfully he spread the love around (hopefully that's all that was spread around) to me, Rob, and Fat Josh (Raymond sissied out). Good times. Kinda wish DB had been there to see if he would have jacked the ante up on the foolish overspending spree.

Everyone drive safe to Huntsville. We'll be in town late Friday afternoon, early evening. I'm good with golf Monday morning. I might just play nine, but I'm definitely in for breakfast and at least the frontside.
