After almost two years, I finally wrote something for the school newsletter (you may have to scroll to page 7 on the FlashPaper). We had some folks from John Deere come and talk about a career in engineering. It was pretty cool, and it was neat to see the kids reaction.
Yesterday I did an 8K put on by the University to raise money for the Athletic Department. Someone asked me if I had any qualms donating money to the UW after the bowl game. I thought about it, and yeah, I want my money back. Well, I guess it's too late now. Anyway, it was a fun event and I actually did a little better than I thought I'd do. Even more surprising, I'm not that sore today. Hopefully if Larry is preoccupied enough I can take him down this year!!
Speaking of Larry, how is the transition to the new house? Still haven't seen any pics.

Is that you talking in the pic, Mr. James Dinsmore?
Only 29 more days!
Any summer school opportunities yet?
Mr. Dinsmore, Great job. You are ahead of your time in promoting math and science as a career. Keep encouraging those kids.
By the way, what is your favorite lunch of the ones shown on the May lunch menu?
mini corndogs? Are these like pigs-in-a-cornbread-blanket with littel toothpicks?
You might find this hard to believe, but with a menu like that you might not, but I have never bought anything from the cafeteria. Mostly because it is a mad house in their and I don't want any part of it. If I need to buy something there is a Piggly Wiggly across the street. It's hard to beat their deli. Ok, that was a joke.
JP, nothing new on the summer school front. Looks like I'll stick to Dodgeland. Even with gas prices, it's still easy money.
