Kevin had to put Seito down Monday around noon. Seito lived an incredibly long life for a big Shepard. Many of you knew Seito and can appreciate the joy and sorrow Kevin and Angie feel after the loss. Joy- Kevin had the opportunity to have one dog-of-a-lifetime. Seito traveled everywhere with Kevin (even into the fraternity house for a year). Seito could probably tell some very interesting an bizarre stories from his perspective/observation of Kevin's life. Sorrow- Self explanatory. The dog was Kevin's shadow for the past 12 years. Its tough to loss someone that has shared in your development from child to adult.
Here's to Seito. I look forward to petting your head and your velvet ears once I see you again at the entry to the Pearly Gates...

As you said, it's tough to lose a family member like Seito. But it is comforting to know that he is waiting there in full health to greet everyone.
Tell Kevin and Angela will be thinking about them.
That was one awesome dog. Man, I hate to hear he's gone, but I'm glad he's not in pain anymore. Tell Kev we're thinking about him.
