Some thoughts on the game. No one believed me when I said that the Cocks would give us a run for our money a week ago Thursday. Well, a win is a win and now we're home for the Hogs. I think we'll have to stack the line and make Mustain beat us. They're backfield is every bit as good as ours, the difference is that our QB should be able to make a pass when he needs to. I imagine the D got a tongue lashing after their last performance and will be ready to prove that they are for real. I'm still convinced that the offense is waiting to explode. The line is good, but just hasn't opened the gaping holes they did last year. I expect Kenny to break a long one or two. I'd still like to see he and Lester on the field together. All and all, I think they'll take the reigns off a bit to loosen things up. I think AU makes a statement tomorrow as they prepare to give Florida it's second loss in a row next weekend. (That's right, LSU wins convincingly in Gainsville. Urban's offense is going to be an urban legend.)

This is seriously 2002 all over again. We lose this game...27-17.

This is the Auburn I know and love. We can deal with pressure. Typical mid-season fold-job. Why continue to play Irons when he has turf toe. Lester and Tate have shown they are explosive runners.
Oh well. Enough with the "What if there are 5 unbeaten teams at the end of the year" and "why does the media hate auburn" talk.
I love Tommy, I want him to be around for awhile, but I think AU got out-coached two games in a row.
There ripping Tommy for his comments about a playoff this week, but now it even has more validity. After this loss, there's no hope for a Nat'l Title game.

I can't wait for the explanation. I think we got exposed. Our speedy defense has not played a team that has a strong running game and runs north and south. Our speed is negated and our lack of strength is exposed playing teams like this. On offense, i think we were looking forward to the FLorida game. Pretty sad, but this is the Auburn I am used to. I hope we can get some redemption by beating #2 Florida. And I hope i can get some redemption by beating you two in this lmj this week.
