Don't worry about Team Whiskey. I just got done watching Dodgeland lay the smack down on undefeated Oskosh Lourdes, 28 - 3. Nothing fancy, just run the ball, run the all, run the friggin' ball.

Thoughts on the game tomorrow. I hope AU can keep up the good play calling. Quick slants to the WR's and let them make some plays. Good solid running from the 3 headed monster, the occasional trickeration to keep them off balance. This is a payback game and I think Auburn has a lot to prove. Defense has been playing well. They aren't even playing the bend don't break game, they are actually stepping up and tackling. Arky is overrated and relying too much on DMac. Auburn by two TD's.

AU 31 - Bacon 14

Thoughts on the game. I'm a little worried. D-Mac and Felix are the two best RBs we will see all year. The Hog O line is stout and we are thin on D because of injuries. Now, I also expect that if Brandon can get some early confidence (short passes, wideouts continue to catch everything that hits them in the hands, RBs pick up the blitzes and keep Brandon's jersey clean, early lead) I think we could see an offensive explosion, or at least as much of an offensive explosion as this team is capable of. I think realistically we could put 34-37 points on the board. Arky plays an agressive high risk/high reward style of D. They blitz a lot and end up playing a lot of man to man in the secondary. This is the type of game where our TEs and RBs catching passes out of the backfield can make a big difference. You're going to see Mario Fannin getting one on one situations with LBs and safeties. If he and Carl Stewart can exploit those match ups we can be tough to stop. The big thing we have to do is stop the long, time consuming, defense draining, 12-15 play drives that Arky can grind out on the ground. If we can force some three and outs and short series and let our D stay fresh I think we'll be in good shape. Overall, I don't think the players buy into the whole "Auburn is unstoppable in the white jerseys" thing. I think they know they have to play together as a team and execute properly to win the game. Arky sure as shoot isn't scared of Auburn. I think we'll come out determined, focused, and poised and do what we need to do to control the game. I think either McFadden or Jones will go over 100 yards (maybe both) but we will completely shut down the passing game and force them to score on the ground. Brandon has his best game to date and Kodi gets a touchdown on a QB draw back in his home state. Auburn 33 Arky 23.
