We need to decide where we are going to play golf. I assume we will play the Pond on Sunday. Where do you guys want to play on Saturday?
- Muni
- Hampton Cove
- Broken Arrow
- Golden Tee at Thirsty Turtle
Muni is cheap and fits everyones level of play
Hampton Cove is always fun, but expensive
Broken Arrow is the course near my parents that we haven't played yet. Cheap. The course is kinda narrow. The elevation change on each hole is almost commical.
Golden Tee at the Turtle is cheap, beer is cheap, what else could you ask for?

I'll go ahead and vote for Ryan. Golden Tee at the Turtle.
To me it kind of depends on what we do after the tri. If we want to go back to Grant to change, shower, etc. then it probably doesn't make sense to play Muni. Of course, we could potentially use my parent's house as a place to eat lunch, change, and then play Muni.
I was thinking we'd play some kind of 4 v 4 scramble Sat. afternoon. Pretty laid back. I could probably be convinced to hit Golden Tee as well.
Have you got the tee time at Goose Pond??
My vote is to keep it cheap. We definitely have to have a celebratory beer after the race...either out of a cooler (I'm sure Remer will already have a couple under his belt by the time Larry finishes the race at 8:38) or at a fine establishment. How awesome would it be to walk into a bar at 9:30 am in Speedos? But I digress. I vote for either changing at the Dinsmore's and playing muni or making the hike back out to Pine Island and playing either the Pond (that place is a lot more bang for your buck than HC) or the Butt Dart, I mean Broken Arrow. I agree with the 4 v 4 scramble on Saturday. As for the Golden Shower, I mean Golden Tee...I'd rather be outside on the golf course than holed up in a smoky bar if the weather cooperates.
We are playing the Pond on Sunday after our SNZ breakfast.
I am in favor of playing muni. Its actually in pretty good shape. And when was the last time you played a 285y par four with a 90 degree dog leg 30y from the hole (#14).
That hole has been my nemesis since back in the day. I'm in for muni. Maybe a little breakfast at Gibson's after the tri and then an 11:00 am tee time at muni?
11:00 am?? A little optimistic on you tri finish aren't you? Just kidding Boner. That plan sounds good to me. I'm hitting 7 iron, 7 iron on #14.
I'm planning on having a helicopter take me from the pool to the first tee to meet up with you guys. I figure you won't be able to make it to the course until then, what with the medal ceremony when you all get presented with Nobel Prizes in athletics for breaking the world record for a sprint tri.
