Larry...what do we need for the tri? What all do we need at the transition? I'm assuming this will be much easier than a swim to bike transition. But since I've never done one of these bad boys I'd like a little direction.
Ran 2 miles today. Damn, running is boring. I will make this promise right here and now: I will never run a marathon. I'm sure I would find people to run the marathon with but the training would be so dang boring I could never do it.

This race is different than most triathlons. There are two different transition areas. The run is first, so you will have a run/bike transition first. You will need a bicycle, helmet, and bike shoes if you have them. Make sure you have a water bottle. Make sure you leave the first transition with your goggles. The bike leg is next. You end the bike at the second transition at the Natatorium. Rack your bike, remove shoes/sox. Put on goggles - head to the pool. Finish. Bike back to original transition area at the Old Airport to get automobile.
I got most of that...my question is more along the lines of do I need to prepare two bags (one to drop off at the nat?) and is there anything that's not obvious that I need to bring? Are you just going to wrap your goggles around your wrist and ride with them?
I'm stuffing them in my pants, or putting them around my neck. No need to prepare 2 bags.
Ahhh yes, fog them up with crotch sweat before putting them on the eyes. I think I might avoid this strategy, but I hope it works wonders for you!
Just wear whatever you are going to swim in during the run and bike. I plan on wearing my goggles during the run and bike instead of sunglasses.
I still haven't bought a speedo. Do they have a "small dong" speedo section at Fleet Feet?
