You swam 2600 yards??? 52 laps in a 50 yd pool?? You are insane.
I ran 1 mile and biked 5 miles this morning. Weak. I know, I know. My legs were tired from riding a real bike yesterday. The wife and I decided to take advantage of the little amount of sunny skies available to us in the last week or so, so we tooled around Piedmont Park, the Virginia-Highlands, Little Five Points, and Inman Park. There is a path of paved trails running from the Highlands all the way out to Stone Mountain. We didn't come anywhere close to going that far though. We just took the trail over to Raymond's house. We stopped in hopes of filling up our water bottle (that's water bottle singular because a bunch of morons in Wisconsin took the bottle cage off my wife's bike, telling her it wasn't "cool"...losers) at Raymond's place. Unfortunately he was asleep (no doubt after a little afternoon delight with Miss Elizabeth) and Cece didn't knock hard enough to wake him up. Never send a woman to break up two people who might be having sex. Just send James and Kevin instead. Anyway, I digress. Last night we joined Kevin and Angela at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens for a John Hiatt/North Mississippi All-Stars concert. It was a good time, but I was dead tired after the mid-day bike ride. Hopefully I'll perk up tomorrow. I can already tell the run is going to be the worst part for me. I need to run at least 3 miles a couple times this week.
Larry, it must be working. I talked to my mom earlier and she said you looked like you've lost quite a bit of weight. I guess you could take that as a compliment. I just think it means you were really fat before you caught the tri bug.

I bought new running shoes yesterday, does that count?
Actually, I've had two days off, but I plan on getting out for a run this afternoon.
Oh, I did mow the yard.

When your dad asks, "Who's the fat kid" .... yeah I was a little heavier then. Your mom didn't say anything about my libido?
Just that you're more interested in riding a bike than riding her these days.
